2011 Public Power Awards of Excellence

It’s time to nominate your city or town for the 2011 Public Power Awards of Excellence to be presented at this year’s ElectriCities Annual Conference. All North Carolina ElectriCities members are eligible to participate.

Awards are available in several categories and the nomination forms are easy to complete. The number of awards given in most categories is not limited, so several cities should win in each category. If your city meets the criteria described under an award, complete the short nomination form to recognize your employees for the excellent work they do on behalf of your community.

We've updated the categories this year to better reflect our focus on key strategic elements. Simply download and complete the applicable document, then attach and send it via e-mail to awards@electricities.org. You will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can also download and complete the applicable document and fax to Rebecca Agner at 919-760-6055.

Hurry! The deadline for receipt of nomination forms is July 15. If you have any questions
