Storm Outage News

Several NC Public Power communities in eastern NorthCarolina had outages from Sunday evening’s storms. The Emergency AssistanceProgram was activated and crews from Elizabeth City, Greenville Utilities, HighPoint, Kinston, Rocky Mount and Wake Forest are currently assisting with restoration.

Some of these outages were due to damaged transmission lines,which have been repaired. The remaining outages are expected to be restored bythe end of the day.
