Marketing
Marketing Support offers a broad array of services and assistance to member cities, their residential customers, and their current and potential industrial customers.
Mass Marketing to our Residential Customers
Our Purpose: Mass marketing to residential customers is a process of working with our member cities and helping them provide reliable energy information to their customers. Our main focus is staying abreast of new technologies on how to use electric energy efficiently.ElectriCities' Marketing Division works to help Public Power consumers get the most value from their electric service.
Our marketing specialists achieve this through the promotion of the use of safe and efficient water heaters, heat pumps and other electrical appliances, as well as the promotion of homes and office buildings that are energy efficient in design and use.
The marketing division also works closely with building contractors to keep them informed on the latest information on rebate programs and the latest technology on heat pumps and other appliances.
Specialists assist member cities in promoting Public Power within their communities through the creation of brochures and newsletters which point out the benefits of being a Public Power customer.
The division also offers invaluable technical support by providing energy audits for residential and commercial customers that do not have trained staff, providing blower door tests to member cities' customers and assisting city staff with operating cost breakdowns of heat pumps and other appliances.
