MANAGER, NC LEGISLATIVE RELATIONS

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and maintain positive relationships with the North Carolina Legislature and its associated and affiliated staff. This position will manage the resources of the Legislative Relations Department to obtain beneficial outcomes on NC legislative issues on behalf of the North Carolina Municipal Power Agencies and ElectriCities.

The ideal candidate will have a BA or BS degree in Public Administration, Political Science or a related field along with considerable experience in a similar capacity. The position also requires proir supervisory experience and thorough knowledge and understanding of the legislative process.

ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

As a primary staff member, this position will be involved in developing and providing the peaking electric power supply for our member cities.  Moderate travel will be required.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree with a background in electric utility power supply construction and operations as well as supervisory experience.  Also desirable is experience with demand side management, system load analysis, metering, telemetry and SCADA systems.  Dedication, reliability, and outstanding customer service skills are necessary for the successful applicant.
