Albemarle, NC, June 28, 2006 – Albemarle, NC, June 29, 2006 – At 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 30 at the Stanly County Airport in Albemarle, NC, the Stanly County Economic Development Commission (EDC), City of Albemarle and ElectriCities of NC, Inc. will celebrate the new Prime Power ParkTM , a new product that will offer businesses the experience of the State’s only industrial park featuring on-site backup power generation.

The Park is the result of a collaboration of Albemarle, Stanly County EDC and ElectriCities together with the property owner, Gus Schad.

Albemarle is one of 19 cities of North Carolina Municipal Power Agency Number One.
