The ElectriCities Library maintains a vast array of resources
that are available for use by its members either on-site or on loan
for a two-week period. Two of the most popular sets of resources
are Safety and Training videos and the CD-I Interactive video collection.

Several of our newest safety training videos are listed below and
may be checked out for a two-week period. Use of the training videos
is free to ElectriCities members. Please insure each video for $300
when you return it to the ElectriCities Library. Additional training
videos are available from the Safety & Training and Marketing
departments.

“Ladder Safety” (DVD 115)

“Electrical Hazards: Avoid the Risk” (DVD 116)

This program discusses safe work practices that everyone working around electricity should employ to avoid electrical shock or electrocution. It provides guidelines for working with electrical circuits, proper grounding procedures and controlling electricity by using proper lockout/tagout methods.
“Electrical Safety: Basic Principles” (DVD 117)

When working around electricity, maintaining personal safety requires knowledge and application of basic electrical safety principles, safe work practices and correct emergency response procedures. This DVD features the training content of Coastal's Electrical Safety: Basic Principles video, and also provides definitions for several terms commonly used by electrical workers.
