| Since Arc Flash Hazard assessment
and fire resistant clothing selection and mitigation methodologies
are an art form, not a precise science, and because there are
so many variables to choose from, this session will utilize
real world device and protective coordination settings based
on input from the seminar. The session will also make changes
so that all participants fully understand all of the components
that make up the study, and how to mitigate the arc flash hazard
through work rules, protective coordination settings, and the
overall selection of fire resistant clothing. This session will
contain examples from other municipalities who have completed
an arc flash assessment. |
