The Legislature passed a law requiring all college and university students to complete the Residency Determination process. The Residency Determination Service was established to determine residency for all students. This is a requirement at all NC colleges for students registering for classes. This service is used to determine NC residency and in-state tuition. Our classes are recognized curriculum at Nash so each student must complete the process online to obtain a RCN (Residency Certification Number).
ALL students who will be attending the schools needs to fill out this form before the school, go to this website: https://ncresidency.cfnc.org/residencyInfo/ to “Create an Account” and answer confidential questions to prove their residency.
Once Residency Certification Numbers (RCNs) are assigned to the employee, please forward the RCNs via email to Melissa Cahoon at macahoon302@nashcc.edu.
