Case Study: Gastonia, NC

Reliable power supply is crucial for today’s advanced manufacturing operations. The Gaston Technology Park, an ElectriCities Prime Power Park in Gastonia, is an ideal solution. The park uses on-site backup power generation to provide continuous power supply for complex manufacturing processes. This unique feature makes the park a perfect fit for advanced manufacturing — and it’s helping Gastonia successfully attract new companies.

Over the past two years, five companies chose to locate or expand at the park. Lanxess, REPI, CTL Packaging, Dixon Quick Coupling and Rochling Engineered Plastics will create 375 new jobs and invest more than $92 million in the community.
