We protect the interests of North Carolina public power communities by advocating on their behalf at the state and federal levels.
Our team monitors legislation, engages with lawmakers, and helps educate them about the impact each bill may have on our communities. When necessary, we unite our members to contact their respective legislators to ensure our voices are heard.
As leaders in and representatives of our public power communities, it is imperative that you play a role in the policy decisions being made in Raleigh and Washington, D.C., advocating on behalf of your electric utility and the benefits it provides your community.
To get involved please sign up through our grassroots platform, where you can tell us about how involved you would like to be and connections you have in Raleigh and D.C.
As the mayor of Wake Forest, I have witnessed firsthand the excellent work ElectriCities has done in Raleigh advocating on behalf of its members. Thanks in large measure to their efforts, public power communities have a respected voice in the halls of the legislature and across our state.
