Dale Odom

Dale Odom

Dale Odom is the Manager of Retail Energy Services with ElectriCities of North Carolina. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dale began his career in Public Power with the City of Lexington in 1993. Most of his roles there involved working with Key Accounts in varying degrees. Before leaving Lexington, he completed the APPA Key Public Power Account Executive course, received his Professional Energy Manager (PEM) certification through the Institute of Energy Professionals and also completed the UNC School of Government Municipal Administration course. Dale joined ElectriCities in 2014 as the Key Accounts Manager for Agency 1. Since joining the ElectriCities staff, Dale has completed training and testing for Level II infrared certification and has also received the Certified Energy Manger (CEM) designation through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). His role involves promoting and supporting key account programs in both NCEMPA and NCMPA1.

Matthew Allen

Matthew Allen

Matthew Allen, Key Accounts & Business Analyst with ElectriCities of N.C., is a recent graduate of the UNC Charlotte Systems Engineering department. He began working for ElectriCities in August 2014 as an intern serving the NCMPA1 members and has been a full time member of the Business Services department serving NCEMPA members since October 2017. Since beginning a career with ElectriCities, Matthew has earned the Key Public Power Account Executive (KPPAE) certification from the American Public Power Association and the Professional Energy Manager (PEM) from the Institute of Energy Professionals.

Originally from Lexington, NC, Matthew now calls Wake Forest home.

Matthew’s primary responsibilities include working with the NCEMPA members to better serve their commercial and industrial customers. Whether it is a commercial or industrial energy audit, or helping a customer looking to install a generator to operate for load management, Matthew is ready and eager to help. ElectriCities Business Services Team operates as an extension of the members we serve.

Emily Lowry

Emily Lowry

Emily Lowry is the Senior Key Accounts Manager serving NCMPA1. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from North Carolina State University. Emily is a North Carolina native, and currently calls Charlotte home. Prior to joining ElectriCities in December 2022, Emily worked in the private sector for over 10 years in a variety of manufacturing and business support roles. Emily’s current primary responsibilities include working with the NCMPA1 members to better serve their commercial and industrial customers. Emily is excited to support our members whether it be performing energy audits or managing the lighting rebate program and anything in between.
