Lineworkers are our hometown heroes. They are skilled professionals who do what needs to be done to keep the electricity flowing to homes and businesses in our communities. The work they do—often in grueling and dangerous conditions—powers our lives.
Join us in celebrating lineworkers and all the service they provide to our communities on Monday, April 13, for North Carolina Lineworker Appreciation Day (see Governor Josh Stein’s 2026 proclamation), and Saturday, April 18, for National Lineworker Appreciation Day.
