2010 Public Power Awards of Excellence

Nominate your community today for a 2010 Public Power Award of Excellence!

It’s time again to nominate your city or town for the 2010 Public Power Awards of Excellence to be presented at this year’s ElectriCities Annual Conference. All North Carolina ElectriCities members are eligible to participate.

Awards are available in several categories and the nomination forms are easy to complete. The number of awards given in most categories is not limited, so several cities should win in each category. If your city meets the criteria described under an award, complete the short nomination form to recognize your employees for the excellent work they do on behalf of your community.

Simply download and complete the applicable document, then attach and send it via e-mail to Faith Lunsford. You will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can also download and complete the applicable document and fax to Faith Lunsford at 919-760-6060.

Hurry! The deadline for receipt of nomination forms is July 2. If you have any questions
about the program, please contact Faith Lunsford at 800-768-7697, ext. 6360.

JUNE 18 UPDATE: You may experience issues with varying font sizes when you fill out the electronic forms. Please be assured that this issue will not harm your application in any way. We are currently working to resolve the problem, but we will accept the forms as they are. If you prefer, you can handwrite your responses and fax your forms to Faith.
