Lineworkers are our hometown heroes, first responders, and skilled professionals who do what needs to be done to keep the electricity flowing to the families and businesses in our communities. The work they do—often in grueling and dangerous conditions—powers our lives.
Join us in celebrating lineworkers and all the service they provider to their communities on Monday, April 14, for North Carolina Lineworker Appreciation Day, and Friday, April 18, for National Lineworker Appreciation Day. In the lead up to those days, we’ll provide resources your public power community can use to build enthusiasm and appreciation for your line crew staff. You’ll see some of those resources listed below, and we’ve got a few new ideas for 2025 we’re excited to unveil as we get closer.
