Celebrate Lineworker
Appreciation Days

Lineworkers are our hometown heroes. They are skilled professionals who do what needs to be done to keep the electricity flowing to homes and businesses in our communities. The work they do—often in grueling and dangerous conditions—powers our lives.

Join us in celebrating lineworkers and all the service they provide to our communities on Monday, April 13, for North Carolina Lineworker Appreciation Day, and Saturday, April 18, for National Lineworker Appreciation Day.

ElectriCities members can access resources including local resolution templates, coloring pages, press release templates, social media messages, and more in the Value of Public Power Dashboard (login required) to build enthusiasm and appreciation for lineworkers in your community.

Lineworkers are the unsung heroes behind the scenes, working round-the-clock to keep our lights on. Their bravery, skill, and dedication deserves our deepest gratitude, especially during dangerous outages. They risk everything to restore power, showing the true meaning of hard work. Let's thank these hometown heroes!
