ElectriCities of NC, Inc., a management services company working on behalf of North Carolina's public power communities has an opening for a Senior Financial Risk Analyst in our Raleigh, NC headquarters. Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Assisting in the implementation, coordination and maintenance of financial planning and modeling systems,
- Being part of the annual budgeting process, assisting in the development of annual budgets and presentations with sufficient supporting material to gain necessary Board approvals
- Being a member of the Agency 1 and/or Eastern Working Capital teams providing supporting analyses of actual and projected costs and revenues for monthly reviews,
- Assisting in the development of appropriate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risk models and reporting structures to identify risks and minimize financial impacts to the Power Agencies,
- Working closely with Power Agencies' engineering consultants in reviewing cost and revenue projections for rate design efforts,
- Developing a solid working knowledge of the Power Agencies, their projects, and their financial structure as well as the financial structure of the participating municipalities which can be used in ad hoc analyses
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting, with a MBA degree or CPA license
- Proficient in using spreadsheets and computerized financial systems

- ability to manage various projects
